My wife found it at Home Depot of all places for about $135. haha
And yes, we both love the trim on this house. The "squares" trim in the formal living area was a non-standard option, but we really felt it would compliment the dining room as well as dress the entryway up a bit (since the Rome doesn't have the grand open foyer the Courtland does). And I think we were right; it really turned out great.
Thanks for sharing pictures of your home, I am also in the process of trying to build a Rome so it gives me something to look forward to. I love the wainscoting! Definitely something I would like to add to the dining room, powder room and the owners bedroom.
Hi! I'm glad i saw your blog coz i was looking at stone fireplaces built by ryan homes. So iwas wonderin', what stone option did you pick for the firplace? Is that the San Francisco cutstone? I was afraid that it moght be too dark but i was surprised that it's not that dark if you have a lot of windows! Hope to hear from you and congrats on the new house!

So excited to see your beautiful home. We have very similar taste and I love seeing the reversed floor plan since that is what our house will look like. http://romeiswheretheheartis.wordpress.com/
Thanks for sharing the pictures. Your home is gorgeous. Absolutely love the living room and dining room with the "squares" and hardwood.

ReplyDeleteThe wainscoting is GORGEOUS! I got chair rail but I think I might have to add the wainscoting too!
